Dedicated to the good, the beautiful and the true...

What is UATV?

Dedication to the good, the beautiful and the true isn't just a tag line, it's what UATV always strives to represent. Every creator making content for UATV is outstanding in their field of endeavor. Each one's prolific body of work in classrooms, articles, books, audio and videos is simply astounding. The current group of UATV creators can be found here.
In a world that is nothing but critical of everything about the history and people comprising Western nations, up to opposing the very concept of "nations" themselves, UATV celebrates Western civilization and the nations that comprise it. Most of UATV doesn't even address Western civilization, it simply doesn't either mock it or seek to redefine it.
A channel about gardening simply addresses gardening, a channel about a therapy dog addresses that dog and its work, etc. There is no social engineering, unrelated politically charged backdrops or subversive elements sprinkled into the content. Even the history course UATV offers studies events from source documents, not the professor's interpretation or synopsis of them. Any creator vocalizing political opinions will be very upfront and clear about it. Viewers are free to agree or disagree, turn off that video, select a different UATV channel, or discontinue membership to the platform.

UATV/Network Membership

Hours of completely free content are added daily. UATV subscriptions allow for the production of original documentaries, the addition of new creators, and keeps many hours of content completely free.
Subscription to any creator grants a member access to every other channel. UATV wants to encourage fans/followers/subscribers of one creator to check out and enjoy the others.
Multiple subscriptions require different email addresses.
UATV does not accept large donors or outside advertisers. UATV has individual subscribers. That's it. It grows organically only by adding members that must choose to stay subscribed every month.
A UATV member often joins UATV because they enjoy the work of one creator, but becomes a fan/viewer of another creator

UATV Membership Q&A

Q: What does my UATV membership pay for?
A:
  • UATV platform costs are the costs UATV must pay in order to exist. These costs include: server space, tech people needed to maintain and grow UATV (post new content, create new channels, develop the apps, etc.), purchase or film new specials and documentaries, and process payments, and handle customer service.
  • UATV creator costs are the costs each creator incurs to create their content. Examples of these costs are two main types: fixed and creator-specific.
    • Fixed creator costs include internet connection, audio/video recording equipment, time to record and upload a video, etc.
    • Creator-specific costs vary from creator to creator, and will vary again on the video that creator is producing. These costs include: time to research and gather information (photos, video, reading material, etc.) for each video, prepping the filming location, gathering products to test, etc.
Q: What membership type supports UATV?
A: Every membership supports the PLATFORM itself, but different types direct the funds of that membership to a specified CREATOR.
Q: If any membership grants access to all UATV content, why are there different membership options? What's the difference to me?
A: From a user's perspective, there is no difference between memberships. The different membership types indicates two things:
  • how much each viewer chooses to support UATV
  • to which creator that membership money goes.
Q: How do I support two different creators?
A: Any viewer can have multiple memberships to UATV, each benefiting a different creator. Multiple memberships can use the same payment method, but require different email addresses to sign up.
Many viewers instead choose to upgrade their level of support as their interests expand. General memberships benefit all UATV creators.
Q: Why isn't UATV streaming?
A: UATV was set up and designed for a model which its users promptly broke. Video hosting and streaming services are sold based on the number of subscribers and then average watch time per user. So many UATV members actually watch so much content, the servers housing the videos had to be upgraded. In most ways, it's a good problem to have, but it renders the additional capacity required to livestream economically unviable at this time.
Q: Why does UATV take any portion of my membership?
A: UATV incurs costs simply to exist as-is, well enough grow.
  • UATV as-is: The platform had to be designed, the original team of creators had to be assembled, the server space needed to hosting the content must be paid for, customer service fields user questions, ongoing attacks must be combated.
  • UATV growth: UATV members determine which new features are most important to them. Currently, this is developing and distributing the various apps needed to view UATV on other devices, and with other services.

UATV Merchandise

UATV merchandise is available at CryptoFashion. (This web address ends in .fashion, not .com, .net or .org.) Many related designs are available on the website.

Hardcover, paperback, and/or audiobooks authored by most UATV creators are available through Castalia House's brand Arkhaven Comics. Purchases from Arkhaven are routed through the Castalia Direct Bookstore (Aerio Retail Network—aerbook.com). All titles are also available at the Castalia House store on Amazon.

Castalia House products are usually less expensive, but Amazon links are provided both for comparison, and any work Castalia House does not publish.

UATV's team of creators are all highly accomplished, deeply knowledgeable, extremely prolific people. Look at their quick bios. Describing the creators in-depth would take pages and pages for each one. A full list of books each one has written isn't even included. Only the highlights for each creator was described just to keep the bios informative but brief.
